To follow Australian MBA:

ICASL offers exemptions for CIM members

Realizing the importance for professionals to posses a recognized foreign professional qualification in today’s competitive business world, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) in collaboration with the prestigious University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is offering exemptions for members of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) to follow the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

Accordingly, members of CIM (UK) can enjoy five exemptions: Marketing management, plus four electives, giving them the advantage of following only seven subjects, allowing them to finish their MBA one year and three months if they take up even just two subjects per semester.

Apart from its prestigious standing, USQ is also an international university of repute in distance learning and was the first accredited ‘institution of best practice’ for external higher education in Australia.

As always, the ICASL, the country’s national accounting body which is the largest professional body and also the largest tertiary education establishment in the country, outside the university system with a student base of over 36,000 partnered with the USQ to offer the two world class recognized Masters Degree courses, namely the MBA and the Master of Project Management (MPM) in its continuing strive to provide professionals both in accountancy and outside the accountancy sphere the best of foreign professional qualifications in Sri Lanka.
