Bourse ends low

The Colombo bourse closed low yesterday. The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) All Share Price Index (ASPI) closed at 7582.55 points moving down by 82.17 points, while Milanka Price Index (MPI) closed at 7015.87 points down by 13.55 points.

The top five gainers were Singer Sri Lanka, Soy Foods, Alliance Finance, Selin Sing and Distilleries.

The crossings among high valued stocks traded were NDB, Laugfs Gas, Ceylon Glass, Distilleries and Nawaloka. The market turnover was Rs 3.1 billion. (SJ)
