Monthly Medal Golf on Saturday

A good response is expected for the February Monthly Medal Golf Championship of Victoria Golf and Country Resort which will be worked off at the beautiful Victoria golf Course at Rajawella on Saturday commencing at 7.30 am. Last month's overall Nett winner was Ian Nalder with another expatriate lady golfer Dess Penn also excelling.

But two golfers to watch will be Englishman Ian Tait who won the Donald Steel Championship for a record three years in a row and Sam Gunaratne who won the Eberts Pot for the Nett Champion and also excelled in the Longest Drive and the Nearest to the Pin for men. He was also second in the tally of points for the Donald Steel Trophy.

With the weather keeping fine, exciting golf is in store for the golfers.
