Moratu Vidyalaya allrounder Sanka Ramesh who has 1152 runs already under his belt took his tally of wickets, 98 in fifteen encounters when he had a match bag of 11 for 92 (8 for 23 and 3 for 69) which enabled them to gain a first innings win over St Aloysious College, Galle in their inter school under 19 cricket match concluded at Moratuwa.

Incidentally this was his third ten wicket haul.

The overnight downpour delayed the game and commenced at 11.15 am on day two and first day's not out batsman and former skipper Kalhara Peiris scored an elegant unbeaten 103 runs which included nine hits to the rope and three over and facing 97 balls and occupying the crease for 182 minutes.

In reply to homesters huge total of 303 for 7 declared, visitors were all out for a paltry 88 runs and following on when stumps were drawn they did much better to score 156 for 7 runs with Nilushka Marlon and Chanaka Danushka scoring 48 and 43 runs respectively.
