Drug dealer arrested

The large scale drug dealer ‘Belum Suda’ who was allegedly supplying heroin to Kandy has been taken into custody with 20 packets of heroin in his possession by the Central Province Intelligence and Information Unit.

The suspect was taken into custody near the Getambe railway gate at Peradeniya.

At the time of his arrest the drug dealer had swallowed a large consignment of drugs, said the police.
