Dumith’s art exhibition
An art exhibition by Dumith Kulasekara will be held at Harold Peiris
Gallery, 18, Guildford Crescent, Colombo 7 till February 28. Kulasekara
was born in 1979 in Colombo and has been painting since 1998. In 2002 he
enrolled in the University of the Visual and Performing Arts and
graduated with a BFA in painting in May 2008. His work has been
exhibited in Colombo at the National Gallery (2005, 2008) and the George
Keyt Foundation (2006, 2007) and in Paris at the Mona Bismarck
Foundation (2008). In 2006 he was awarded the second price for Young
Contemporaries, organized by The George Keyt Foundation.
