 opening and closing nights at the recent “HSBC Colombo Fashion Week 2011”.

Among the collections were ‘Sporty and Semi Formal Wear’, ‘Formal Wear’ and ‘Ceremonial Wear’, all of which were presented by leading Sri Lankan and foreign models. The elegant selection was received well in the highest level by the audience. The product variants, their finish, quality, content and style harmonized well with the best of European fashion collections, thus embodying a great selection for the fashion conscious male both in Sri Lanka and overseas.

“This was my fourth year at the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week. In retrospect I feel that this has been my best collection compared to the previous three years.

The FH Brand is currently marketed in India, Maldives and Czech Republic to a growing portfolio of customers”, Fouzul Hameed said. This is indeed a significant achievement. Not only does it bring me a sense of personal pride and achievement, it has also brought glory and honour to Sri Lanka.

This will undoubtedly help other local designers to compete and unveil unique collections on par with international designers, he further added. My thanks to the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week for recognizing many young and upcoming designers and positioning them on the international map.
