MTD Walkers declares operating revenues for Q3

MTD Walkers Group declared operating revenues of Rs 653,195,579 for the third quarter, a rise of 28 percent from the previous quarter of Rs 508,869,745.

The company’s consolidated financial statements for the nine months ending December 31, 2010 stated a profit after tax of Rs 130,150,586; 435 percent rise from Rs 24,302,651 in the same quarter last year.

“Overall, I am pleased with the quarter’s results in what continues to be a challenging business environment. We are seeing economic recovery across the Nation and we expect to capitalize on these opportunities,” MTD Walkers Group Chief Financial Officer Viraj de Silva said.
