MTD Walkers declares operating revenues for Q3
MTD Walkers Group declared operating revenues of Rs 653,195,579 for
the third quarter, a rise of 28 percent from the previous quarter of Rs
508,869,745.
The company’s consolidated financial statements for the nine months
ending December 31, 2010 stated a profit after tax of Rs 130,150,586;
435 percent rise from Rs 24,302,651 in the same quarter last year.
“Overall, I am pleased with the quarter’s results in what continues
to be a challenging business environment. We are seeing economic
recovery across the Nation and we expect to capitalize on these
opportunities,” MTD Walkers Group Chief Financial Officer Viraj de Silva
said.
“Looking forward, I am confident that the execution in all our
operating businesses will enable us to capture the opportunities we are
