Upeksha Swarnamali hospitalized

Gampaha District Parliamentarian and artiste Upeksha Swarnamali was yesterday admitted to the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital with severe lacerations to her face.

Parliamentarian Swarnamali who is popularly known as Paba sustained facial injuries following a domestic dispute.

Hospital sources yesterday confirmed that she underwent a surgery at the hospital and would be discharged within two days. Police sources also said that they have recorded a statement from the artiste over the incident.
