Hemas Group earnings up

The Hemas Group has recorded a turnover of Rs 4.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18.6 percent and earnings of Rs 311.4 million, a growth of 25.9 percent for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

HVA Foods commences trading: HVA Foods Ltd started its trading on Diri Savi board of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) yesterday. Speaking to Daily News Business HVA Foods Chairman Rohan Fernando said it was a great start for the company. The company is satisfied with the performance of the first day of its trading. The share price appreciated by 55 percent yesterday. HVA Foods Ltd Chairman Rohan Fernando with other officials monitoring trading prices of HVA Foods shares at the Colombo Stock Exchange yesterday.
