to customers after a face lift.

With a history of nearly 40 years Hotel Renuka and Renuka City Hotel
are the perfect setting for business travellers as well as leisure
lovers. Now with the expected increase in tourist arrivals Renuka City
Hotel had revamped its services and facilities to attract a new and
younger market segment. Some modern features that provide easy access to
world-class facilities and services will be at the client’s beck and
call.
The reception, guest rooms, bathrooms, banquet halls and bar have all
donned a fresh look. The Eclipse Bar provides a trendy aura with a range
of beverages from beer, wines, spirits and cocktails. The conference and
banquet venues, ‘Ivory’ and ‘Ebony’- is the ideal setting to host
weddings, banquets, cocktail parties, corporate get-togethers,
conferences and other festive occasions, accommodating around 100
people. They come with the latest audio visual equipment and lighting
technology.

The 81 guest rooms are boarded with timber floors, new lighting
systems and a spacious environment. Flat TVs, safety deposit lockers,
tea/coffee making facilities, bath amenities, minibars, Wi-Fi facilities
and many more features have been included to add a touch of class to the
rooms. Some even come with an additional luxury: a splendorous view of
the sea.
Hotel Renuka’s banquet hall, Paradise Room, accommodates up to 250
guests. Paradise Room can be partitioned into four separate sound proof
conference and banquet rooms: Jasmine, Lotus, Orchid and Anthurium. Each
of them can entertain between 15 to 60 guests.
The twin hotel’s popular restaurant - the Palmyrah - serves mouth -
watering Sri Lankan and Indian cuisines. Their specialty is the classic
Jaffna fare. Their chefs are experts in preparing dishes like mutton
paal poriyal, fried fish pittu, Jaffna whole crab curry, odiyal kool and
milk hoppers.
The new look took shape within three months and was carried out under
the supervision of architects of DDN Design Pvt Ltd and contractors
Sanken Lanka Pvt Ltd.
