France and its rich splendours were celebrated at the Alliance
Francaise de Kotte when renowned compere Kumar de Silva launched his
photographic exhibition. Titled Nostalgie the exhibits comprised back
and white photographs taken by Kumar in his ventures in the romantic
French settings.
From the multi-faceted diversity to the cosmopolitan setting Kumar
had captured the crust of the French culture, lifestyle and backdrop
through lens. Interestingly Kumar will also complete 25 years in his
stay with the French Embassy.
The exhibition opened to the public on January 23 and will run till
February 6. The Chief Guests at the opening were Defense Ministry
Director General Lakshman Hulugalle and Dilrukshi Hulugalle. |
