Teen burglars in police net

Two brothers 13 years and 15 years have been taken into custody by Peradeniya Police on charges of burgling a computer lab of the Peradeniya University and the Hindu Vidyalaya’s computer unit and robbing the computer accessories.

The two brothers were reported to have re-assembled the looted accessories and converted them to new computers, the Police said.

These brothers were students of grades nine and ten of the Hindu Vidyalaya, according to Police investigations.

The brothers were produced before the Kandy Magistrate and they were ordered to be handed over to a child care centre till February 10.
