Accelerated program to rebuild damaged houses

Construction, Engineering Services and Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa has pledged to implement an accelerated program to rebuild the houses damaged due to the floods and earthslips.

The Minister has appealed to the victims to inform the District Managers of the National Housing Development Authority about their damaged houses. The authority has already started a program to collect the necessary information.
