China donates USD 30,000 flood relief

China donated USD 30,000 to Sri Lanka Red Cross Society to provide
relief to flood victims in the country.
Chinese Ambassador Yang Xiuping handed over the financial donation to
Red Cross Society Service Unit Chief Colonel Sudath Madugalle.
The Chinese Red Cross Society had sent this financial donation to Sri
Lanka Red Cross Society and the Chinese government said that they hope
the financial assistance would reach the flood affected people.
The Red Cross society appreciated the support extended by China at
the hour of need and recalled their prompt support during the tsunami
disaster.
