Singer Finance dominates trading

The entire trading at the Colombo stock market was dominated by Singer Finance Lanka Limited share trading on its fist day of trading.

Singer Group of Companies in Sri Lanka Chief Executive Officer Asoka Pieris said the company is happy and expected this outcome.

“The share traded at a high price.

“This endorses investor confidence and it was evident from the IPO which was oversubscribed in record time,” he said.

The closing price of Singer Finance shares was 3.75 times of the IPO price of Rs 15.
