Joes- Royal 114th encounter

The 114th annual inter school Under 19 cricket encounter between St. Joseph's College and Royal College will be worked off today and tomorrow at Darley Road.

Out of the 113 matches played so far St. Joseph's College are ahead in the series with 28 victories against Royal's 21 victories with 63 matches drawn. Royal of course will be without star all rounder Bhanuka Rajapaksa while Joes too will miss Chathuranga Kumara and Supechala Jayatilleke as they playing against the touring England U-19 side. (C.D)
