Will Kandurata make it two in row?

Kandurata will be looking to register their second successive victory when they take on Basnahira in their SLC Inter Provincial limited overs cricket tournament match at the SSC ground in Maitland Place today.

Kandurata led by Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara have already got off to a flying start having defeated Ruhuna by 96 runs on the Duckworth and Lewis scoring method in their opening encounter.

In contrast Basnahira will be hoping to bounce back into recognition after their eight wicket defeat at the hands of the defending champions Wayamba in the opening match of the tournament on Tuesday. (C.D)
