Lankans have the advantage over England
The Sri Lanka under 19 team will be looking to exploit the home
conditions when they take on the touring England Under 19 team in the
opening youth Test match commencing at the Galle International Stadium
today.
The home side captained by all rounder Bhanuka Rajapaksa is in good
form having excelled for their respective schools and provinces in the
ongoing domestic tournaments.
In contrast the visitors are yet to make their appearance and their
only warm up match was also washed out due to bad weather at the
Welagedera Stadium in Kurunegala.
