Four arrested for alleged abduction

The Colombo Central Intelligence Bureau arrested four underworld gang leaders who allegedly abducted two Colombo businessmen to a house at Bandaranayake Mawatha and assaulted them causing severe injuries.

The special police team acting on the direction of Colombo DIG Anura Senanayake assisted by Colombo Senior SP Macky Perera and SP Ranjith Dayananda arrested the four gangsters hiding in a house at Bandaranayake Mawatha.

Maradana Police OIC Chief Inspector Amal Edrimanne with SI Vimal Devanarayana, PS Washeer and PC Kulasekera assisted in arresting the four suspects and are conducting investigations.

Suspects will be produced before Court.
