Celtic, Rangers wait
Alistair Watson
Both sides of the Old Firm could be back in action again on Tuesday
if their rearranged Scottish Premier League games manage to survive the
severe weather conditions.
The Arctic snap in Scotland has decimated December’s SPL fixture list
with Celtic having not played for over three weeks.
The Hoops hope to return to league action when they host Kilmarnock
at Celtic Park.
It is the first of three scheduled home games Celtic have before they
travel to Ibrox to take on Rangers in the second Old Firm encounter of
the season on January 2.
Maximum
Having dropped points in their previous two matches at home manager
Neil Lennon is hopeful of collecting maximum points from their festive
fixtures.
“The expectation will be nine points out of nine in the three home
games we have coming up before the Old Firm game. It starts on Tuesday
against Kilmarnock,” the Hoops gaffer said.
