NYSC youth club in Japan

The youth clubs movement affiliated to the National Youth Services Council is recognized as the organized and the biggest youth clubs movement in South Asia.

According to a concept of the Youth Affairs and Skills Development Minister Dallus Alahapperuma, the Chairman, Director General, NYSC has made arrangements to introduce this youth movement to Japan and other Asian countries. There are 9,000 registered youth clubs in Sri Lanka islandwide affiliated to the NYSC. It has a membership of over 500,000. At an invitation made by Perera, a delegation under the patronage of S Cryro recently visited Sri Lanka and met him at his office in Maharagama.

After the discussion it was decided to form the first youth club in Hchioji village in Tokyo.

A delegation led by Minister of Youth Affairs and Skills Development Dallus Alahapperuma will attend the event.
