Airmen, women pass out
Four hundred and sixty four trainees from the No 147th Regular Airmen
Recruit Course and No 22nd Volunteer Airwomen Course passed out from
Diyatalawa Thursday after competing 16 weeks of Ground Combat Training.
They received training in drill, weapon training, field craft,
Tactics, Map reading, Air Force law, Air Force Organization and
Administration.
They have been given knowledge on field first aid and human rights.
The Parade was commanded by Wing Commander Anurudda Wijesiriwardana
Parade Adjutant flying Officer RCN Ranneththi and Parade Warrant Officer
Flight Sergeant Kandambi.
Sri Lanka Airforce Colombo Station Air Commodore Vijitha Gunaratne
was the Chief Guest. Commanding Officer SLAF Station Diyatalawa, Group
Captain Lanka Kodippili was also present. |
