Applications accepted until Dec 21

The Examinations Department will accept applications for Advanced Level answer scripts Re-evaluation until December 21, Examinations Commissioner Anura Edirisinghe said.

School candidates have to submit their re-evaluation applications through their schools while private candidates can submit applications directly to the Examinations Department.

According to Examinations Department statistics, out of 230,237 candidates who sat the Advanced Level Examination last August, 19,788 candidates have failed all three subjects.

A total of 142,381 candidates qualified for University admission.
