Budget passed with 116 majority

The Budget 2011 (Appropriation Bill) was passed with a majority of 116 votes in Parliament yesterday.

One hundred and fifty six members voted in favour and 40 against.

The DNA and UNP voted against and the TNA abstained from voting.
