Lions repair singer Lanthra's house

Kelaniya Metro Lions Club repaired veteran singer Haroon Lanthra's
home at the request of Social Services Minister Felix Perera. It had
cost Rs 300,000.

The Metros Lions Club has also undertaken to offer a donation to cure
an affliction in Lanthra's throat. He had been unable to speak loud for
several months. The Metro Lions Club has also undertaken to finance
Lanthra's wife's eye operation. Public Affairs Minister Mervyn Silva,
Kelaniya Metro Lions Club President Lion Arosha Kumara, Divisional
President Lion Anura Dissanayake, Kelaniya Provincial Vice President
Lion Jayantha Kabral, Sub Lion Jayantha Gunawardana, Ja-Ela Provincial
Council Chairman Lalith Nishantha Abeywickrama also participated.
