A-L: 142,381 students pass exam

A total of 142,381 students have passed the Advanced Level examination out of the 269,000 school and private candidates who sat for it. A total of 4,384 candidates have obtained 'A' pass in all three subjects. Of this, 404 candidates are from the Maths stream, 1,576 from the Commerce stream, 367 from the Science stream and 2,037 from the Arts stream, the Examinations Department sources said.

Around 22,000 students will be able to gain admission to Universities.
