Access Engineering performs well

Access Engineering Ltd has recorded Rs 3,032.5 million as revenue for the financial year ended March 31, 2010.

The company annual report said the profit before tax during the period was Rs 961.3 million while it was Rs 960.3 million during the pervious year. Net profit after tax was recorded as the Rs 825.3 million.

The total assets was recorded as Rs 3,545 million and total liabilities stands at Rs 541.5 million in the 2009/2010 financial year.

Access Chairman Sumal Perera said the Sri Lankan economy is at a very significant juncture and infrastructure development is taking place at an unprecedented pace.

“We believe that Access Engineering is well poised to be in the forefront of this development,” he said.

“The performance of the company in the year under review is clearly aligned to this and demonstrates our ability to consistently perform for the benefit of all our stakeholders, while being able to take up the challenges and opportunities that rise in this new era,” he said.
