With the launch of a stylish new store, Furniture Factory (Pvt) Ltd hopes to meet the increasing demands of their customers. The store located at 216, Havelock Road was opened on December 1 giving customers a first glimpse of the designer furniture items and services on offer. The opening ceremony was graced by celebrities, key corporates, well-wishers and the media, who were treated to a tour of the store by Managing Director Saeed Ahamad.

“Exactly a year ago we began Furniture Factory, running a gallery at Lily Avenue to deliver customized furniture,” said Saeed. However, with customers wishing to see the finished products a suitable display space to accommodate them was deemed necessary, he further explained. To meet this objective Furniture Factory thus launched its new store complete with spacious interiors where potential buyers can browse through designer furniture at leisure.

Furniture Factory continues their focus on custom-made furniture delivering personalized designs within a period of 30-60 days. Alternately the choice of designs on display allows for quick purchases for homes, gardens and as gifts.

Everything from dining sets to sideboards to choose from, imported items from Indonesia are also made available for the customers. Made out of teak timber these particular designs are of contemporary and sleek style.

With furnishings to suit all manner of requirement including for living, dining, bedroom and veranda areas, Saeed attests to their superior quality that the company prides itself in. “We use seasoned timber for all products to ensure quality products that last a lifetime,” elaborated Saeed.

Much emphasis is laid on attention to detail such as hinges and other accessories from superior quality brands. All brass fittings are imported from Indonesia and India and for furniture items such as wardrobes the handles are custom-made for the desired attractive finish.

Equipped with workshops in Moratuwa and Wadduwa the Funiture Factory is well endowed to provide custom-made products. Additionally the company’s sofa manufacturing plant serves to further enhance its capabilities. “Whatever the customer envisions we help refine their idea further. We also offer the additional advantage of producing a three dimensional representation of the client’s to-be-built spaces through latest digital technology. This would allow the client to see their products in proper scale and how it interacts with their interiors,” said Sabreena Joonoos, Interior Designer of Furniture Factory. Gehan De Soysa, owner of Velona Group joins this new venture and the store is made customer-friendly with a qualified team of professionals to guarantee customer satisfaction.
