Kidney failure kills 1,371 in NCP

Of the 9,130 Chronic Kidney Patients reported from the North Central Province within the past seven years, 1,370 of them have died, North Central Province Health Services Department Kidney section officer Dr Asanga Ranasinghe said. Dr Ranasinghe said 7,379 patients have been reported in the Anuradhapura district and 1,751 patients have been reported in the Polonnaruwa district during this period.
