FKC International enters Sri Lankan market

FKC Asia (Pvt) Ltd., in the health care sector has seen great
opportunities in Sri Lanka and the company will use country as a bridge
to reach the Indian market, the largest market in the Asian region.
“Sri Lanka can be a dynamic market in three four year’s time which
has a huge potential for neutroceutical products. Sri Lanka thus will be
a part of our global market,” FKC International Inc., Vice President, K
K Chang said to Daily News Business at the introduction of FKC Asia (Pvt)
Ltd., to the Sri Lankan market.
FKC International develops natural health supplements that are used
to prevent threats to health using quality herbs, minerals and
supplements.
It will assist the body to restore its natural healthy state.
FKC Asia (Pvt) Ltd., has seen great opportunities in Sri Lanka and
the country will be used as a bridge to reach the Indian market, the
largest market in the Asian region.
The company needs to see Sri Lankan market as a Sun which will make
the entire South Asian region shine, he said.
“We have been using herbs all over the globe and we expect to set up
a manufacturing plant in Sri Lanka in the future. We have seen through
our market researches that Sri Lanka has the manufacturing ability,”
Chang said. Though the company has not done a study yet to use
indigenous herbs for their products he believes that herbs in every
country are used for a biological reason in medicine.
“We have invested US $ one million initially and will invest as
required in the future. We will be introducing 15 products initially
which can be ordered using e-commerce.
The company has signed agreements with two courier companies in Sri
Lanka to make free home delivery available covering the whole country,”
he said.
The company’s five year strategy is expected to cultivate the market
which will lead them to growth. |
