Medical needs of 700 looked into

A team of doctors and nurses attended to medical requirements of 700 civilians in and around Chavakachcheri, who are unable to afford medical attention when the 52 Division of Varani organized a medical camp at Chavakachcheri Hindu College on November 27. This one day medical camp including clinics for affected eye, dental and physical care.

With the coordination of the 52 Division commanded by Brigadier Anura Sudhasinghe, Commander 552 Brigade Colonel Hemantha Bandara with his Civil Affairs Officers with the support of Colombo Rotary Club arranged this mobile medical service. Twelve doctors and medical staff members from hospitals in Jaffna treated the needy people.
