Navy exhibition begins today

An exhibition organized by the Sri Lanka Navy to mark its 60th anniversary will be opened by Navy Commander Vice Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe at the Colombo Light House complex today.

The exhibition which portrays the strength of the Sri Lanka Navy which continues for eight days is open to the public free of charge.

Visitors to the exhibition will have an opportunity to board the Navy’s Dvora and fast attack craft and gain real life experience on their operations, a Navy spokesman said.
