No pardon for perpetrators - Media Minister

Minister
Keheliya Rambukwella

If any one tried to inject life to resuscitate the LTTE terrorists from their death bed, it is the most treacherous act one can perform against the Nation, said Mass Media and Information Minister Keheliya Rambukwella adding that such perpetrators will never be pardoned by the nation.

Minister says

* Certain elements still attempting to revive terrorism
* Britain has displayed inefficiency
* Take a leaf from Lanka

The Minister said this referring to the protest campaign launched by LTTE terrorist elements in London recently.

Minister Rambukwella said certain elements which nurtured LTTE terrorism in the country in the past were still attempting the revive terrorism which had been totally eradicated from this country. He said Britain which was pontificating to the world about five star democracy and the menace of terrorism had clearly displayed its inefficiency and cowardice to the world by failing to clear obstacles placed against a State Leader to express his views freely in its domain.

The Minister said countries like Britain should take a leaf from Sri Lanka and resolve not to cow down in the face of terrorist tactics.
