Second Test on new RPS surface

Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday announced that the second Test match between West Indies and Sri Lanka will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium with the prime objective of providing the national players an opportunity to get familiar with the new playing surface.

This decision was taken based on the fact that the national team will be playing World Cup matches at this venue and hence familiarization is of paramount importance.
