NUS Professor to lead CIMA Mastercourse
Competitiveness is crucial for a company’s profitability as well as
for a country’s prosperity. Competitiveness comes from enhanced
productivity and value creation, both of which depend on learning and
innovation.

Competitiveness: myth, miracle or model! will be the title of the
Mastercourse that CIMA will organise in November. This course explains
the linkages between innovation and competitiveness and shows how the
relationships work at both company and country level. Singapore National
University, Asia Competitiveness Institute, Founder Director Prof Boon-Siong
Neo will be in Sri Lanka to lead this Mastercourse aimed at members of
the senior management team, product owners, business heads, strategic
planning leaders and managers.
Content of the program will include - what is competitiveness?;
principles for developing competitiveness; why is innovation important
for competitiveness?; how to create value through innovation.
An overall framework that helps managers and leaders create value
through innovation will be discussed. Practical examples and actual
cases will be used to show how companies, have applied these principles
in their business contexts. |
