Lankans in action today

Sri Lanka golfers, led by Mithun Perera will tee off in the third round - individual and team event at the Dragon Lake Golf Club on Friday.

In sailing, Lakshan Gunawardena (men's mistral), Sureni Gunaratne (women's dinghy optimist), Krishan Janaka (open laser) and Avishka de Alwis (men's dinghy optimist) in round 9 and 10 of their respective events on Friday. The other Sri Lankans to be seen in action on Friday are Dilhara Salgado, Shashikala Kumarasinghe (both in archery - women's individual round 1), Sanjeev de Silva (rowing - lightweight men's singles sculls final race B), Geethika and Sujeewa (beach volleyball women v. South Korea) and Mahesh Perera and Wasantha Ratnapala (beach volleyball - men v. Indonesia). DW
