Govt out to help Jaffna University

President Rajapaksa has taken steps to raise the standard of the Jaffna University to Meridian height. When the budget is passed in the parliament the Jafna university students will have two spacious hostels, the Art and aesthetic departments will be a single faculty.

We have sought the assistance of Japan, Korea and Western countries to raise the Jaffna University to level of International Universities” said Higher Studies Minister S B Disaanayake addressing the teachers and students of Jaffna University at Kailasapathy hall.
