The visiting four-member Indian Coast Guard Delegation headed by
Deputy Director General (Operations and Coastal Security) Inspector
General V S R Murthy called on Navy Commander Vice Admiral Thisara
Samarasinghe at the Naval Headquarters Thursday.
They were accompanied by Sri Lanka Coast Guard Director General Rear
Admiral Daya Dharmapriya and Indian Defence Attache Captain Sumeet
Kapoor. The delegation held discussions with the Commander on a range of
issues such as drug trafficking, human smuggling and poaching.
