Leisure Inbound retains Trophy

Leisure Inbound 'A' brilliantly led by Anushka Perera, retained the John Keells Holdings Inter-Company Rugby 'Sevens' title for the third successive year when they scored a resounding 21/5 win over JK Office Automation 'A' in the 'Cup' final, at the CR & FC ground last Saturday.

Ceylon Cold Stores clinched the "Plate" beating Cinnamon Grand 33/14.

Leisure Inbound 'B' lifted the 'Bowl' with a crushing 27/0 win over Transportation "B". Plate 'Semi-Final': Cinnamon Grand beat DHL 35/0 and Ceylon Cold Stores beat Keells Hotels 28/5.

The final round matches in the 'Cup' competition were keenly contested, Leisure Inbound 'A' beat JKOA 'A' 22/19 and Transportation 'A' 14/05, JKOA 'A' beat Transportation 12/07.

Dinusha Chathuranga from Ceylon Cold Stores was adjudged as the Man-of-the-tournament, while Nuwan Chamara was picked as the Man-of-the-Match of the Cup final.

Cinnamon Grand came on top of the fun games winning the Cheer Leader Competition and the Best Tent competition.

Keells Hotels Management won the "Hakka" contest.

Vice Chairman, JKH, Ajith Gunawardena was the 'chief guest' at the post tournament awards presentation, which was followed.
