The 25th Trade Expo Indonesia under the theme Serving the global
market - Indonesia is remarkable will be held at Jakarta International
Expo from 13th to 17th October 2010.
"This year's trade expo will showcase all Indonesian export products
ranging from industrial, mining, agriculture and craft sectors. This is
a good opportunity for the locals as well as foreign business community
to explore potential market, the Republic of Indonesian Embassy Economic
Affairs First Secretary Albert Abdi told Daily News Business.
Sri Lanka and Indonesia is experiencing similar situation in the
political arena as both countries are now providing a conducive
environment for business to grow and sustain. The stable political
conditions could improve both the business and the trade relationship
between the two countries, he said.
The Indonesian Embassy will facilitate Sri Lankan businessmen who are
interested in building linkages with Indonesian counterparts and will
encourage trade and economic activities through this trade expo. This
could create a win-win situation as both countries have strong economic
policies for socio economic development. This year's show is expected to
draw more participants and last year's show attracted more than 7,900
buyers from 99 countries. The total trade transaction value was US $
285.4 million.
Trade Expo Indonesia 2010 Indonesian Icon Pavilion will showcase
history of Indonesian trade, the legacy of timeless Indonesian export
products, the best 25 Indonesian brands, the best export products, dream
of the future, green products and 100 percent Cinta Indonesia. It is the
showcase of potential, unique and best quality value added products,
resources and services which meet international standards of exports.
The specific products that have ISO, eco-label and CSR are also
displayed in this pavilion.
The Trade Expo 2010 is organized by National Agency for Export
Development of the Trade Ministry in Indonesia. |
