TIE delegation from Kerala to visit Lanka
The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL)
in collaboration with the Board of Investment and KPMG will be
organizing a high powered, 13 member business delegation to Sri Lanka
from Kerala-The Indus Entrep-reneurs (TIE) from September 29 to the
October 3.
Founded in 1992, TIE is a nonprofit entity comprising major
entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals. The
current TIE portfolio consists of over 12,000 members over 55 countries.
Having the mission to "foster entrepreneurship globally through
mentoring, networking, and education, TIE is dedicated on generating and
nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, the expected delegation consists of Chief Executive
Officers, Managing Directors and other Senior Professionals from major
Kerala industries such as UST Global, Popular Vehicles and Services
Ltd., Sterling Farms Research and Services (Pvt) Ltd., Terumo Penpol
Ltd., CGH Earth, A.V. George Group of Companies, Eastern Group of
Companies, Rubberasia and Dhanam, Integral IT Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.,
Performix, DC Books, etc.
Having the objective of exploring the newly identified post-war
markets in the North and the East regions of the island, the TIE
delegation is further interested in establishing business links for
Investment, Joint Ventures, Strategic Alliances etc., with the industry
leaders. The FCCISL is organizing a Business Meeting for Sri Lankan
companies with these Indian delegates at the Dukes Court, Cinnamon
Lakeside, Colombo on October 1 from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm.
