Regular checks to arrest sand miners
The Southern Province DIG, has instructed all police stations in SP
to carry out regular raids to arrest illegal sand miners.
]Police had received information that illegal sand mining was going
on unchecked in several places. According to the DIG's order several
police stations has already established an Environmental Police Unit in
SP.
