Jaffna fair receives overwhelming response

The Jaffna Education Fair 2010 was held on September 18 and 19 at Jaffna Central College.

This is the first post-war education exhibition in the North. It has given an opportunity for the talented children to develop themselves academically. The exhibition also received an overwhelming response from local as well as foreign institutes. This exhibition has had its impact on the youth seeking tertiary education.

With high educational institutes providing exhibits the Northern Province students have had the opportunity to interact with the education providers and pursue higher study opportunities of their choice.

The exhibition is the cumulative efforts of the British Council, The Daily News (print media sponsor), Uthayan newspapers, PICO – official stall contractor, Education Ministry and Higher Education Ministry, Northern Provincial Council and its Governor and Sub Office, Northern Province.
