Jobs for Lankans in Iranian vessels

Sri Lankan seamen will get an opportunity to serve on board Iranian vessels under an agreement signed between Sri Lanka and Iran during the visit of Iran's Trade Minister Mehdi Ghazanfari.

Iran has recognized the certificate of competency issued by Sri Lanka's Merchant Shipping Department to seafarers and this recognition has facilitated our seamen to serve in Iranian vessels.
