War hit families get relief goods

Resettlement Minister Milroy Fernando handed over relief goods worth Rs 20 million to 665 families in the Welioya area Tuesday, Resettlement Ministry Secretary M B Dissanayake told the Daily News.

Among the relief material provided were roofing sheets, agricultural implements and material. A water bowser was also provided for them.

Welioya was one of the areas where terrorists had inflicted severe harm on villagers.
