The countdown has already begun and there is exactly a few days more
for the most memorable show to be performed in Colombo with the “The Fab
Beatles”, the number one tribute band for “the Beatles” and they have
been living up to the name and truly paying tribute to one of the bands
that have stuck in the minds of old and young, then and now.
The Fab Beatles- Live in Concert will be held at the Sri Lanka
Exhibition and Convention Centre (SLECC) on September 18, 2010 at
7.30pm. The show will be compered by the renowned Vijaya Corea.
Prashan Butani and Yohan Fernando of Mystere Entertainment Lanka –
have organized this spectacular event where they said that the band is
picked by BBC as the ‘Best Beatles Tribute Group’ and that they are
bound to keep the fans enthralled with Beatles favourites such as She
Loves You, Can’t Buy Me Love, Twist and Shout, Lady Madonna and more.
This is a show for the whole family and everything has been arranged
in a very affordable manner for everyone to enjoy.
Mystere together with their team are running around, getting
everything in place, making box plans, making seating arrangements to
make everything comfortable not only for the performers but for the
audience as well.
Tickets priced at Rs 5000 (reserved) are available at Bayleaf (79,
Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7), Commons (39A, Flower Road, Colombo 7) and
Park Street Mews (50/1, Park Street, Colombo 2). The unreserved tickets
are priced at Rs 2000. Tickets can be purchased at all Keells outlets:
Union Place, Crescat Boulevard, Ethul Kotte, Nawala, Kohuwela, Mount
Lavinia, Liberty Plaza and ODEL.
The media sponsors for this event is The Sunday Observer and the
electronic media sponsor is MTV Channel One and Yes FM. The gates will
open at 5.30 pm with ample parking and the show will start at 7.30 pm.
