‘Mr. Sri Lanka’ contest on Saturday

Body Builders from all parts of the country will gather tomorrow at the Bishops College to show their muscles in different weight categories for the ‘Mr Sri Lanka’ title.

Preliminary rounds of the show will commence at 8.a.m. at the same venue. The weight categories competed by the builders are 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90 and over 90 kgs. There will also be events for under 21 and over 45 years.

The winner in the ‘Mr. Sri Lanka’ will receive the trophy and a cash award of rupees 50,000, while the winners in other categories are to receive gold, silver and bronze medals.

Sri Lanka Air Force which won eight titles out of nine weight classes in a recently concluded event will field Builders for all classes with intention of grabbing the title.
