Countrywide seminars for O-L students

The Examinations Department will conduct countrywide seminars for students who are sitting the forthcoming G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination. The series of seminars will commence from September 11 and continue until October 30.

The series of seminars will be conducted at provincial basis. The Examinations Department has prepared a set of Compact Disks which contain model question papers and notes.

These CDs have already been sent to all Provincial Education offices.

The Provincial Education offices will inform students on how they can participate in these seminars.

In accordance with the timetable, Science subject will be taught on September 11 and October 02 while Mathematics will be on September 17 and October 09. Seminars in Sinhala or Tamil languages will be held on September 18 and October 18. Seminar for English language will be on September 24 and October 23 and seminars on History will be held on September 25 and October 30.

The inaugural seminar session will be held on September 11 at Royal College, Colombo under the patronage of Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena.
