UN helps achieve millennium development goals

The United Nations (UN) and United Nations Association Sri Lanka (UNA Sri Lanka) have common concerns and activities and the UNDP supports the Government's efforts to achieve the millennium development goals with priority to poverty reduction, Resident Coordinator of the UNDP in Sri Lanka Neil Bhune said at the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of UNA Sri Lanka held at the Jaic Hilton Hotel Colombo recently.

NASL President Rohini Nanayakkara said the organization will continue to work towards fulfilling its objectives.
